The 12Step.org web site was started in the late 1990s and has been online in various forms since then. We strive to provide information, tools and resources that make working a 12 Step program (or any program using 12 step principles for recovery) as simple and straightforward as possible.

We have started putting Google ads on this site in order to help cover expenses and provide a basis for further expansion of our services. In accordance with our conviction about our Higher Power, we also try to give a significant portion of income from Google ads to a worthy cause. This is currently focused on the crisis in Northern Uganda. More information about this situation that needs our help and prayers can be found at Invisible Children and the mission efforts that we are supporting at Far Reaching Ministries.
