  1. Porn addiction is the new drug of the 21st century. Millions of men and women watch it around the world every day. Very few of them know or understand the risks to them. We are a group of people who have battled this addiction, and with the help of Nofap© , CBT and various models we have been able to fight this addiction. Its been the attitude of many for several years that porn is harmless, and that everyone should watch it if they want to. Well over the last 10 years porn addiction has exploded across the globe. Research has shown the effects porn has had on the brain, and how it has the same likeness to cocaine or heroin. With the rapid development of technology, porn is easy to access on mobile devices, and you can watch it 24/7. Many users of porn do not realize the dangers until its to late, and their addiction has taken hold. Start today and give up porn. Its not real, it only provides you with short term pleasure, and then delivers long term pain and self hatred. - From their website

  22. More stories coming soon! This is the 30th year that a Singles in Sobriety conference has been held for Singles in Sobriety. It began in 1984 when a group of recovering alcoholics met at the home of Steve M. to discuss the needsof singles in Alcoholics Anonymous. At this time there were few, if any outside functions for singles in AA in the Dallas Metroplex. The group that night had been getting together for social events like camping, trips, and get-togethers outside the rooms of AA. These members decided there was a need for singles activities in AA, thus the idea of a Singles in Sobriety conference was conceived. Finally there is an app that has stories direct from singles out there just like you and they have very useful information for you........ The basic premise of SIS was to live guilt-free and happy as a single member of AA, feeling no peer pressure to be married or have a significant other. The first conference was held at Lake Texoma Lodge in September of 1984. Eight members of AA put together this conference. In 1987 the conference was moved to Lake Murray, OK where it remained for the next 23 years. In 2010 it moved to Tanglewood Resort on Lake Texoma. One of the major goals of the founders was to get as many single people in recovery involved in service. The conference has evolved into a wonderful weekend of caring, sharing, fellowship, and fun that the single community in recovery can forward to each year. Enjoy listening to singles like you with this easy to use app. The app features: ~ Audio from the Singles in Sobriety Conference ~ Share capabilities ~ Ability to find a meeting - From description on the Google Android Play Store
  23. The opening portion of the IP states: The purpose of this daily inventory is to keep track of who we are and what we are doing today. Try to answer every question, every day. Keep your answers as simple and as honest as you can. If you miss a day, do not make it up later. Limit your answers and concerns to the past twenty-four hours and complete the questions at the end of the day. The app has three menu items at the bottom of the main screen: Check in, Resources, and Profile. Check In This app provides a mobile version of a daily mini-inventory. You may scroll through the questions and answer them as appropriate. At the end of the questions, you have the option of saving your responses so you have an ongoing record of your responses, by date. Additionally, the app gives you the opportunity to add any upcoming events for the next day or in the near future. Resources On the Resources tab are links to NA's Meeting Search, the current day's meditation, as well as other options to call your sponsor, read literature, or financially contribute to the NA Fellowship. For the links to work properly, you will need to have internet access. Profile The last section is to keep track of your own information, including your clean date. - From description on the Google Android Play Store
