Sep. 16, 2009 - Updated Recovery Journal Alpha for Mac Released
The alpha (preliminary) version for the Recovery Journal (for the Apple Mac platform) was updated to allow people with older PPC based Macs to be able to run it (i.e., a universal binary). An appropriate icon was also added.

Sep. 14, 2009 - Added FAQ and Newcomers Guide
We added an FAQ on the left side of the home page and a Newcomer's Guide for those new to a 12 step program. Please send us comments if you would like other questions added or have other points that you believe should be added to the Newcomer's Guide.

Sep. 10, 2009 - Recovery Journal Alpha for Mac Released
An alpha (preliminary) version for the Recovery Journal has been released for the Apple Mac platform. This will provide a code base for future versions of Recovery Journal.

Feb. 10, 2009 - Site Makeover
Our website gets a make-over with an updated version of the software and modules that run the site (Joomla - thanks to the open source community that makes this great platform) with improved security and functionality. Also, the look and feel was changed to allow for easier expansion and the online meeting calendars were switched from Google to an event list format that will hopefully make it easier find a meeting of interest quickly.

April 18, 2008 - Cyber Meetings
We have added Cyber-Meeting calendars. These are Google calendars with Cyber-meetings for recovery from around the web.

April 8, 2008 - Meeting Documents
We have added links to meeting documents for those who are interested in how recovery (usually 12 step) meetings are conducted.

January 4, 2008 - More Step Worksheets
We have added worksheets from other sources and links to workbooks to help you in working the 12 step program.

October 12, 2007 - 12 Step Versions
We have added a list of the versions of the 12 steps as different programs have used them. It is a testament to the popularity and power of using the 12 step program for recovery for all types of problems.

August 27, 2007 - Site Redesign
The 12Step.org site has been redesigned. Initially you may notice the more aesthetic look and feel. Hopefully it will provide a more pleasant browsing experience for you. A deeper reason for the switch, however, was so that we can offer more features in the site. You may notice that the links in the Web Sites area are now more complete and allow you to suggest your own and make comments and ratings on existing links. Also, the community features will allow you to upload questionnaires or other materials for others working a recovery program. We plan to also add more features as time goes on, and this gives us the platform to make it easier.
